System Engineer

For our client, a company specializing in digitalization, automation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, we are looking for a new colleague for a project with an electron microscope manufacturer for the position of System Engineer.

What you’ll do

• Integrating mechanical, electrical, and optical subsystems into electron microscopes
• Defining system requirements, configuration, and calibration
• Supporting the development of new features (SEM, TEM, DualBeam), performance analysis, and optimization
• Troubleshooting HW/SW issues, perform testing and validation
• Collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, and product management
• Providing technical support to customers during configuration and escalations

What we expect

• University degree in electrical engineering, physics, mechatronics, or a related technical field
• Understanding of electron microscope operation and ability to connect mechanics, software, and physics
• Technical mindset and ability to communicate across teams
• English at B2/C1
• Knowledge of Czech is not required, but is an advantage

Advantageous to have

• Experience with SEM/TEM/FIB or other precision instruments
• Knowledge of semiconductor environment, vacuum technology, electronics, or motion systems
