Finance Director

For our client, a company that is one of the world's leading manufacturers of equipment for handling vegetables and fruits after harvest, we are looking for suitable candidates for the position of Finance Director.

Job description:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability, including growth through acquisitions
• Lead all aspects of financial management (budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting) both for local requirements and parent company reporting
• Provide strategic guidance and analysis to senior leadership on financial matters
• Lead the accounting team and HR function in day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversight of the IT and Admin support functions
• Drive process improvements (including a future ERP system implementation) and leverage technology to enhance financial operations and reporting capabilities
• Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including regulatory agencies, auditors, and financial institutions

Requirements:

• Min. bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Proven at least 5 years experience in a similar finance role
• Excellent command of English (other EU languages is an advantage)
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in business operations in multiple EU countries, ideally in a growth environment (both organic and through acquisitions)
• Knowledge of CZ GAAP and taxes and experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial and accounting policies & practices
• Excellent system skills including complex ERP, and the ability to develop and implement systems to support growth & efficiency
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with staff in different teams and at different levels
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
