Sensors and Transducers (SnT) Engineer

We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our client, a company specializing in the development and production of piezoceramic materials and components, as a Sensors and Transducers (SnT) Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop piezoelectric sensors and transducers based on customer requirements.
• Select and evaluate piezo ceramic components for optimal performance.
• Support the introduction of new products to production by defining manufacturing steps.
• Conduct measurements and testing of sensors and transducers using laboratory equipment.
• Analyze transducer output, sensitivity, noise, and resonances.
• Document design processes, test results, and development progress.
• Improve existing sensors and transducers for enhanced performance and cost efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams on development projects.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of piezoelectric technology, sensors, and transducers.
• Experience in mechanical design and proficiency in CAD software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Finite Element Method (FEM) is a plus but not required.
• Understanding of material properties (metal, plastic, ceramic) and adhesives.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, soldering, and connectors is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and professional growth.
• English proficiency is required; Czech language skills are an advantage.
