For our client, internationally dynamic company with production facilities in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Sweden, we are looking for suitable candidates on the position Key Account Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Development of Sales strategy towards Key Accounts in Modern Trade as well as development of sales strategy and business development strategy for the Horeca business segment and traditional trade
  • Continuously evaluate and develop distribution channels and access to the market for all products through all trade channels including Food producers, retailers, wholesalers, restaurants, catering etc.
  • Development and effective implementation of solid account plans for the customers and distributors to increase turnover of existing portfolio and to increase distribution of new SKUs, reflecting the commercial strategy.
  • Launch & develop business with organized OOH chains and larger individual HORECA outlets to increase distribution/penetration, by constantly seeking new opportunities (prospects)
  • Drive all trade negotiations, secure share of shelf in line with brand expectations and ensure full implementation of all trading agreements.
  • Assortment: following strategy for Sales Offices CZ and Sales Offices Europe
  • Yearly negotiations with clients on overall terms.
  • Negotiate promotions, discounts & marketing activities
  • Understands and evaluates the market to compliment customer and internal interaction
  • Analyzing, creating & preparing Czech/English presentations to support action plans
  • Organizing and planning of own work to achieving sales objective

Professional Knowledge

  • Sales/key account management skills & excellent negotiator
  • Excellent project manager &organizer
  • Understanding of marketing/consumer psychology within local culture
  • Good knowledge of FMCG structure in the Czech retail market
  • Very good MS Office knowledge

Experience

  • Master or Bachelor degree in finance, economy or marketing
  • Min. 3-5 years of experience in the Key Account or Sales Management towards key retailers in the Czech Republic.
  • As well as some experience in sales to Horeca is benefit
  • Experience in FMCG, related to Modern Trade, or out of Home
  • Strong analytical and sales skills
  • Native Czech speaker with fluency in professional English
  • Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • TOP values: Team spirit, Open dialogue, Passion

Specific knowledge

  • Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Sales techniques and advanced negotiation skills
  • Analytical & conceptual skills
